Excellent grades

Well, well, well, I finished strong with all a's. I brought up Mr. Patton's science grade from an 89 to a 92!!!  I got two awards at the award ceremony. My first award were for excellent conduct and the second one was for strong effort all year. Now I'm off to junior high and seventh grade!!!

My goal for this summer is to try to lift 75 pounds. After I worked out I was so tired I got in the pool. 

Update on my new baby sister

Well the Hogg is getting bigger. She is almost 7 pounds now and is really getting close to being born.  Here are the latest pictures of her.  Just two weeks to go before I hear screaming all the time!

Reese's Party

Yesterday was the last day of school. All of the 6th graders had a party from 1:00 to 3:30. After that it's party time at Reese's house!!! These are the kids who were invited to the pool party, Robin, Anna, Cameron P, Cameron James, Steven, Reese, Reese's sister, Connor, Taylor, John-Ross, Abbey, Isabelle, Logan and me.  Reese, Cameron James and Cameron P played Halo 3.  The kids were dancing, swimming and played games.  All and all it was a fun day but I was wiped out by the time I got home!

Finally got to shoot my gun!

I only got it two years ago! My dad shot all of his guns and I shot my 22. It was fun but the bugs were biting me.

My First Official Chess Tournament

Last weekend I entered my first real chess tournament! There were 130 kids total and 16 in my division. My dad helped me move the pieces as I called the moves out. He messed up three times, but I still did good. I lost my first game but I won the last four putting me in second place. The last game was very fun. Since I got second place my ranking is 670 witch will put me in a new category next time. Below is some pictures of the chat I had with my coach and a picture of my team. What's very cool is our school took first place! They take the top 4 players score add them up and the highest total wins. One of my friends won first place in a different division so that was 5 points then my 4 points, really helped us win. I can't wait for the next tournament. The last picture is from the USCF web page showing my ranking. The next tournament I can use my computer so my dad won't mess me up.

Staar week is over!

While I was taking the Staar test for the last 4 stinking days, my three cousins, Nana and Papa were in Florida on a vacation at Dinsney World! It was sucky that I've to do the dumb Staar test. I didn't really care because I couldn't have gone and I already did go when I was 2 years old and again on the cruise when I was 9 years old!!! Oh well!
