3rd official blog about Alaska

My third most favorite part about the trip is going to Seattle because the food there was so good. We rode on the giant Ferris wheel, my father dearest started shaking us and making us all scared way up in the sky. We saw Mount Ranier from the plane and it was so close we could of flew right into it! I got on a mono rail train to see the Space Needle but it was too long to wait so I kinda got mad. Then we walked through Pike Place Market and it was full of hippies and liberals. Finally, we had dinner at a place called The Crab Pot, the food was delicious with tons of King crab, snow crab, muscles, shrimp, potatoes, sausage, corn, and clams. They threw it all on the table and we ate like pigs.

2nd official blog about Alaska

My second most favorite excursion was panning for gold and riding on a real train! All six of us panned for gold and it all added up to be 57 dollars! The person that weighs the gold said that we've made the most ounces in the summer! The panning for gold activity was cool! Now for the train, I liked it but I got tired of it by the end of the tour because it lasted an hour and a half and went through Alaskan rain forests into Canada. At first I was amazed by the glaciers, mountains and valleys made by glaciers. At the middle of the tour I got a little scared because the train tour guide told us that this train is going to be on that bridge in a minute. I was scared of the bridge because I always see trains in movies falling off bridges!

1st official blog about Alaska

The first excursion that I want to talk about is the Allutian Ballad crab boat. When the cruise ship got to Ketchican Alaska, papa, dad and me got off of the cruise ship and walked towards the crab boat. The captain was so nice to me and made sure I had a front row seat to be able to see everything. When we got there and begun to move away from harbor, the captain talked about how the boat flipped 3 times by a 60 ft roag wave and nearly captsized it, in season 2 of the Deadliest Catch! Then once the boat got moving, the captain let us hold a real crab and other people too! After that, the captain wanted to know if somebody would bite the head off of a fish and of course, I made my dad do it. The captain also let us see king crab, octopus and eagles. All and all, it was pretty cool being on a real crab boat that was on The Deadliest Catch!

Power soccer

Two weeks ago, we went to go see a power soccer game, The Houston Dynamos vs. the Fireballs and it was pretty exciting. So I signed up to do it. I thought I'd be good at power soccer because I'm not afraid to ram other power chairs to get the ball! By the way, me and my team will be facing off against real players like they did when I watched it. My mom said that I was going to be a Fireball. I start in September on Saturdays so now I will have to do horseback riding in the morning then go straight to power soccer for practices.

Camp Blessings 2014

A week ago, I went to camp to get away from all of the caos (especially from Sandals and Caleryn). When I got to Camp Blessings, I saw special needs kids, adults and teenagers. After my parents left, our cabin left to go eat some grub. For the rest of the days the cabin kids and me did the giant swing, zip line, swimming, archery, arts and crafts, horseback riding and ext. I didn't do music because I was sick. So I wanted to lay down and take a nap. After my nap, me and my counsiler went to the nurses office. The nurse gave me some medicine but it didn't really help me. Steve, my helper this year, was a scaredy cat of the zip line but he tried it anyway and I think he liked it.  Steve and Logan (the cabin leader for this year and my helper the last two years), wondered if I wanted to go to Texas A&M territory to see a football game with them and of course I said yes. They will both be going to A&M starting this year and Steve was homeschooled too!

This is why I did homeschool

When I was at McCullough, I was bombarded with homework and schoolwork. Everyday I would have 4 hours of homework as well as on the weekends! It was very rare to get a little homework. I never had time to do therapy or even play video games or with Caleryn. Everytime mom picked me up from school, she would see my eyes so dark and think that I haven't slept in days but it was only the eye gazing. Most of my teachers in McCullough didn't care about how much work I was doing or that the computer I had to use never worked right. All they cared about is the test and the star. Anyway, I think we've made the best decigion because in 10-12 grade, it's like another McCullough! Thank goodness I'm in homeschool!

Honnie Boo Boo

I don't consiter the t.v. show, "Honnie Boo Boo" anymore because my dad found out that they voted for Obama. Here's why I think they voted for Obama. I think that the whole family were clowning around and thinks that our president is so awesome, when he's actually really sucky. To all of the people in America that did that from 2008 to 2012, get your head out of your butts and relize that this president that you voted for, is destroying this country. If Honnie Boo Boo voted for Mitt Rominy, I would've watch more of Honnie Boo Boo's t.v. shows but o well.
