My 14th birthday
For my birthday, my parents bought me a go cart. The first time l saw the go cart it was a surprise because l thought that my parents were'nt going to buy it until when we had land. When my dad and me rode on the go cart, it scared me half to deaf because my dad drove it at the fastest speed most of the time that weve rode on it! The only problem about it, is that it's loud. You can hear it from our house all the way down the street to the mail box. O yea, about a week ago l drove the go cart by myself and I did good too! The only thing l messed up on, is that l didn't make a wide enough turn to turn around. The other suprise was sky diving. I thought that we were going to the jousting place (Medeval Times) When l herd that l had to relax, l thought that l couldn't do this. At first when l got in there l couldn't breath but when l got up to the top l was fine for the rest of the time. The funniest thing of the whole suprise is when Crazy Carol fell on her butt for both of her turns!

Derby race
Last Saturday, we went to a derby race because we couldn't go to power soccer. The derby race was pretty cool! One guy made a spin as he was turning! In one race, they let out some, well, to me lt looked like mini Smart Cars. The announcer said that those drivers were kids! I was kind of mad that we had to leave because of Caleryn but also, it was kinda chilli outside. I should've shared my hat. Anyway, l had a great time but the only person in the family who didn't like it was Caleryn.

Homeschool field trip #6
The day after the second power soccer tournament dad, mom, Caleryn and me went to two missions called, San Jose and San Juan. San Jose looked like a smaller Signagogue. I didn't learn much there because we didn't go over it at home beforehand, but we got to listen to a tour guide. All l learned there is that they carved all of the designs on the mission by hand! It was also home to a large number of Indians at first then monks. We tried to go into the church but they were having a funeral. Now, if we would've went to the Alamo to learn something new about it, it would've been more interesting. Now for San Juan, l learned that it was founded in 1731 by the Spanish Catholics of the Franciscan Order and l learned that it was named by Saint John of Capestrano. The mission was built out of mud and brush and was one of the smaller missions out of the 5 (including the Alamo). We saw behind the mission there was an aqueduct irrigation system which was used to supply water for the thousands of cattle and horses, sheep and goats that lived there. Both missions have churches that still have mass every week which I thought was pretty cool. On our way home we stopped in Luling, Tx for some of the best BBQ we've ever had. The place was smoky and not very comfortable for a power chair and high chair and we didn't even know how to order because you had to go to two differnt areas but the food was THE BEST BBQ...City Market BBQ!!

The second power soccer tournament
Well, this was my second power soccer tournament in San Antonio. Our team did much better compared to last time. I remember that we only scored one goal against San Antonio and they scored six goals! The second game, we worked much better as a team. I was more agressive and scored a goal. This time, the score was 2 to 1. The only problem is that my chair wasn't fast enough to get close enough to (Jacob) the best player of their team when he was going for goal. The tournament lasted for two days. On the first day, l was all hiped up on Mountain Dew but on the second day l was kinda tired of playing and ready for it to be over! It was a fun weekend and I only got better with all the practice.
