Finally getting my Strike Force Chair!!!

After many months of waiting, I'm so excited to announce that I got a grant from The Challenged Athletes.org, they gave me a $1500 grant to help me get a Strike Force Power Chair for powersoccer! So with all the donations from GoFund me and the grant and all my money I had in savings, I was finally able to order my Strike Force! But it's going to be a long time before I even practice in it because I'm having surgery this Thursday. Once l do, I think my teammates are going to be scared of me but hopefully before then I will get used to it enough. The cool thing is that I can practice against my dad and I kinda want to see my mom practice with me too because that will be a funny experience to see. She'll probably be a scaredy cat though, and hopefully my dad won't play around with it and break it, since he's been known to do that too! I think the chair is mainly going to help me with catching up to the ball, especially when there's a break away. When I first started playing powersoccer there was only one kid with a Strike Force chair, now we will have 5 players with the faster chairs! I just ordered it yesterday but I think it takes like a month to get it....so more waiting!!
