A Myth For Language Arts
Why do Bats Sleeps Upside Down.
They say bats sleep upside down to keep away predators, but the real reason is that long ago in a faraway land called Transylvania there was a hotel by the name of Hotel Transylvania. A guy named Count Batula built a house where bats can sleep and be safe from humans in Romania. Ricky Good and Ricky Bobby were the two bats in charge of the hotel. If one human steps into that hotel the bats would act like a madhouse of swarming bees that is ready to strike any minute!!! One night a young man stepped on the patio and knocked on the gigantic armored door. Ricky Good and Ricky Bobby were wondering what that could be. Ricky Bobby said," who can that "be?" Ricky Good said," probably it's a left out bat." Ricky Bobby said," maybe you’re right, lets go see." So Ricky Bobby and Ricky Good rushed toward the door before he went away, Ricky Good opened the door as he saw a HUMAN!!!!!! Ricky Good whispered,"this human might be a predator." Ricky Bobby whispered,"lets see if he's prey or predator." Ricky Bobby ask the human,"are you a predator?" The human said,''YES!!!!!" Ricky Bobby and Ricky Good both flew ten feet above the floor and grasped a 5 inch gray bar as they hung upside down. Ricky Bobby and Ricky Good said,"Now we will be safe and all the other bats too!!!!!" And that’s why bats hang upside down. The end.
