The first dance class for Caleryn

Now l didn't go to the dance class but, l heard that Mis Caleryn Grace acted like a class clown (like her father was when he was a kid) when it was her turn to dance! The girls that went before her, was doing all of the moves correct.  The girls only had to do three easy moves like twirl, a dance move then blow a kiss but Caleryn couldn't even follow directions! When it was her turn to dance, all she did was run, trip and run again! I tell you what, she's going to have some trouble when she goes to a public school or homeschool or a church school. If we put her in a public school, my parents better start thinking into putting her in a special needs classroom but, my parents probably won't do that though because of what happen to me. Sometimes l wish that there was a divice that can read a baby's mind and l think there are divices out there that can read peoples minds too. That would be so cool to know what she would do before she did it but she would probably take it off and throw it to the ground as soon as you put it on her (like she does everytime with her hair bows). O yea, l forgot to tell you that my parents took her to the Houston zoo while l was away at Camp Smiles. Mom said that it was super hot there. O well, hopefully Caleryn will follow directions and be more focused. Which is going to be very hard for her!

The videos are posted under video headline. Also, there's a couple of pictures from the zoo and splash pad.

The first power soccer practice since before the surgery

My first power soccer practice was more of a memory lane for me because l had to figure out where to go constantly. I was a little stumped at the first of the drill but, as soon as someone said that you have to get at least two or three passes before you goal, then l remembered what to do. After that, the coach seperated us into three pairs of fours for three ten minute games. The first teams that played was our team and another team. In all of the games that my team played, which l think it was three games, l was super agressive! In fact, in one game l scored a goal! The coach said that l was on fire.  l think l was either excited to play again or had a burst of energy because, about a day before got the stinking stomach virus out of me! O yea, l forgot to tell you that it lasted for a week! So thanks a lot mommy dearest (another name that l call my mom sometimes) and thanks to Caleryn for giving it to mom, for getting me sick!! Anyhow, l am going to be having a Houston Dynamo/Dash charity game in two weeks in Houston. Nana and Papa, if you can come and see me play, please come, I really want you to come Wednesday August 5th 6:30 pm!!!

Anyone who reads my blog in the Houston area, Please come out and watch my team beat the professional soccer players of Houston! Charity event!

Camp Smiles: blog #2

At Camp Smiles our cabin did, archery, the Giant Swing, zipline, pool, paintball, fish, canoeing, music, arts and crafts, dancing and watched a movie called Big Hero 6. Music was funny because our cabin had to combine two different songs on a computer and some of the songs me and Tray tried to combine was funny. For fishing, l caught 10 fish with a cane pole! The pool was a war area for me because everytime l got in the pool, l would sneak attack Charles (one of the helpers in our cabin). The canoeing was kinda boring. I kind of wish that there was a game to play while your on the canoe, like water balloons or squirt guns. The movie Big Hero 6 l had aready watched it before camp but anyway l liked it because all of the campers had ice cream! Which from my opinion, the sweets is the best part of a movie, ecept when the movie is good or if l hadn't seen the movie. The Giant Swing is still my all time favorite l think because as soon as l start swinging l freak out because of the jerk from the start of it. Arts and crafts was not my fortay and it never was either. To me, it was just boring. The zipline was fun but still the Giant Swing was better though. This year l didn't do the uphill wall walk. Paintball was fun, l wish we would of pulled off that the trick we did on Charles, oh well. I tell you what, l suck in archery. In archery, I got no bullseyes but l did hit the target though. In dancing, they did not really have any good music and when l requested a song from the dj (Monkey Business by Skid Row) she didn't have it! All and all this year at Camp Smiles was pretty fun but there are a couple of things l would change like, make arts and crafts and canoeing funner and change the songs.

Camp Smiles: blog #1

Camp was kind of was a war between me and Tray (my counselor buddy) and Charles (counselor) and his camper, Ryan because everytime we got in the pool, me and Tray would always tackle Charles in the pool. I was a little torcheror to Charles because when our cabin went to play paintball there was a challenge to hit a metal plate that spins and if you hit it in two hits, a buddy who ever you pick has to eat a paintball! Of course, l didn't hit it but that first time l was so close to hitting it. At the end of paintball, l saw that l was storing a paintball in my chair and then l had a idea to put the paintball in Charle's lunch! When it got to lunchtime, l told Tray to put the paintball in his lunch while he was away and so he did. When Charles came back he caught it! Oh well, maybe next year l will get him with a paintball at the other camp for older kids if he's there because l finally graduated from camp smiles!

Impatient therapy

Well, l spent two weeks in Texas Children's Hospital doing therapy and here's how it went... It was pretty hard because some days l had to work for five hours a day! In physical therapy l mostly did walking. My physical therapist would gradually make me do more laps everyday. For speech therapy, l mostly played around with the Tobi (eye gazing computer) and l spoke on the iPad. The Tobi was kind of slow which might have been because l had to look right from the letter l wanted but mom thinks that I'm out of practice though. The occupational therapy was kind of easy. I mostly played board games durning therapy but he would give me a choice either to move my pieces or somthing else like, rolling a dice. Also, after l was done with all of the therapies l had to get in the stander for a hour for physical therapy! Oh, l forgot about this too. The coolest part while l was there was that l got to meet Garth Brooks in person and l got to be in a picture with him too! He didn't sing but all of the therapist sung,"Deep in the Heart of Texas" though.

Check out the video I uploaded into the videos section!

Birthday party for Caleryn

Caleryn is now 2 and that means that she'll become more of a bratt now. The birthday party was fine but the only problem about it, is that we had to rush it because l had to go to the hospital for the intensive therapy the next day! Also, Caleryn had to go to Nana and Papa's house for 2 weeks! The only thing that l liked about the party is that the cupcakes were awesome! Now, my parents tried to take a picture of my head in the farmer board but my head was too fat in it and it was hard to breath.
