Caleryn's First Galveston Trip

Again, pictures without me (boo!!) while I was at Summer Camp. She went to the Moody Gardens Aquarium and to Galveston beach.

Field trip to Austin/Kitty Purry Visit

My friend from summer camp "Kitty Purry" wanted to see me so she invited all of us to one of her football games at the college she goes to so we made it into a homeschool field trip/weekend vacation. First, we went to her game when it was the second quarter because it rained the whole trip up there. The funny thing is that I freaked her out when she first saw me, she screamed and gave me a big ole hug. She introduced me to her cheerleading friends and family. They seemed like they enjoyed seeing me. After the game was over, she wanted me to go on the field to take pictures with all of the cheerleaders,  which made me nervous like an icicle! I was so happy to see her again! Anyway the next day, we wanted to go to the capital in Austin. I learned a little bit about the laws they make there but the part that I most remember about it, is that Caleryn went under the ropes in the senate room (where your not supposed to be) and my dad freaks out! The guard tells him he can go after her, she's such a turd! After that, my mom wanted to go to the gift shop, I bought a Travis letter, which is a letter he wrote to Sam Houston asking him for his help at the Alamo. The capital was a nice place to play around with my power chair because it's so big. A little while later, we went to the highest point in Austin. All the houses are in the mountains so you drive through neighborhoods. Good thing we brought moms suv, instead of Boss Hogg's truck cause hers has 4 wheel drive. The view was almost like the train we rode on from our Alaskan excursion trip, because we were so high. I would never live there because I can see myself riding my bike and falling off the cliffs. We wanted to go see the bats but because it had been so rainy and cold they had already flew to Mexico. They usually leave in October so we just missed them. Over all, I had a blast and made some memories!

Life Teen

Well I finally started Life Teen (which is a weekly bible study class at my church) finally, its the class after Edge. The first time I went to Life Teen l went to the wrong group (group 7) because they couldn't find my name on the list, l was supposed to be in group 4! The week after that I went to the right group which has a really good leader and I know a kid from chess club. There were some friends that I saw and what's cool is that I can go for the next four years until Comfirmation. So I'll probably have many friends by then.

Hairy knees

Ever since the tendon lengthening surgery I've had hairy knees because I almost never get on my knees anymore. I only get on my knees for strengthening. And you know what's funny, before the surgery my knees was mostly all skin now my knees are like two hairballs! A lot of people notice it too. Even my therapist laughed at me. Someday, I might make up a name for my knees like, "Jungle of Hair" and the song will be "Welcome to the Jungle". 

Power Soccer practice

I might have a teammate named Steven to be my buddy in power soccer because during practice last week he was always beside me. He's a really good player! He has an actual power soccer chair, which l so want because when he spin kicks the ball, the ball goes so fast that it's hard to hit the ball good and I think that I will play better if I get a real power soccer chair. Also, Megan who I know from school and camp is going to be joining our team hopefully this week. I'm trying to recruit her on Facebook. She was wondering about all the details about powersoccer so I told her all about it. I hope she shows up!
